As the first and official Pro Pickleball league in Australia partnered with Pickleball Australia Association (@pickleball_association_aus), it’s expanding into New Zealand and Asia to redefine Pickleball in the Oceania region.
So What’s Up in 2024?
PP is launching eight new pro teams and upping the game with 12 high-caliber squads.
The games will feature a revolutionary format with four athletes per team, showcasing 48 elite talents.
PP will hold six world-class events in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia with a prize pool of over $600,000!

Pacific Pickleball
Pacific Pickleball is the official home of Pro Pickleball in Australia and the Pacific.
It’s more than just a league – it’s a community of passionate players dedicated to taking the sport to new heights with world-class events in Australia and the Pacific region to showcase the game’s excitement, attract and improve players, and grow pickleball across the areas.
Pacific Pickleball is proud to partner with the Pickleball Australia Association as Australia’s Official Professional Pickleball League. Off the back of their success at the Pacific Pro Sydney and Pacific Pro Gold Coast, it will present two more exciting events in 2023: The Pacific Pro Brisbane (September 8th-10th) and the Pacific Pro Melbourne (November 3rd-5th)!
The prize pool will be distributed across the ALL-NEW Teams Championship format and the beloved Player’s Championship featuring Open and Masters draws.
Pickleball Australia
Launched in 2020, Pickleball Australia has nurtured and guided the development of pickleball nationwide.
Establishing seven state and territory associations, supportive sub-committees, and a range of affiliates has advanced the Australian pickleball footprint with continuous strong growth in membership, playing opportunities, and program development.
Pickleball Australia is a not-for-profit volunteer organization committed to furthering playing opportunities in Australia and internationally. It also aims to provide the accreditation and training of administrators, coaches, and referees and, in turn, develop state members, affiliates, and individuals of all ages and ability levels.
Pickleball New Zealand Association
PNZA is the governing body for Pickleball in NZ and facilitates the growth of community connections through the playing of Pickleball across New Zealand.
Its mission is to ensure the growth and development of pickleball across New Zealand through a network of clubs/venues and players.
Coaching, social, and competitive play opportunities will help establish local associations and improve community connections.
