MLP by Margaritaville is pleased to announce a significant development for the league’s next event: MLP Dallas (November 2-5).
It will now coincide with the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships, powered by Invited and the PPA Tour (November 5-12), contributing to the largest pickleball tournament in the sport.
Back-To-Back Events
Under the new branding of MLP Dallas, this event will be hosted at Brookhaven Country Club in Farmers Branch, Texas, an inner-ring suburb of Dallas. Tickets can be purchased here.
These back-to-back events will bring together the three major pickleball organizations – MLP, PPA, and USA Pickleball. This development follows last month’s announcement of the merger between MLP and PPA, creating a unified pickleball organization.
Around 4,000 amateur and professional players are expected to compete, marking the pinnacle celebration of the sport.
MLP’s culminating Season 2 event will continue to be held in San Clemente, CA.
Last Weekend’s Action
If the action is anything like as exciting as what we witnessed at Atlanta last weekend, we’re in for another treat.
We saw how the Orlando Squeeze also went undefeated and came out on top as the MLP Atlanta Premier Level Champions!
Their quartet featuring Anna Bright and Andrei Daescu are currently performing exceptionally well in the PPA and APP, respectively. Zane Navratil brings a wealth of experience to the pickleball arena and is expected to maintain his role as a team leader.
Meanwhile, Rachel Rohrabacher, initially considered a wildcard in this event, has proven herself among the league’s top-tier women’s doubles players.

Phillip Phillips And Le Freak!
The event at Dallas will also be notable for the attractions off the court as well.
USA Pickleball announced Phillip Phillips is to form part of the live performances at the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships, powered by Invited and the PPA Tour.
Singer-songwriter Phillips is set to perform on the Championship Court as part of the celebrations.
Le Freak, a disco tribute band based in Dallas, will also be part of the extensive pickleball celebration.
Pickleball Boulevard
To add to the entertainment, more than 25 partners have been tapped to activate on “Pickleball Boulevard” at the 2023 Biofreeze USA Pickleball National Championships powered by Invited and the PPA Tour.
The boulevard will feature an array of attractions, from beer gardens, music stages, and culinary delights to interactive games, merchandise stores, kid-friendly activities, and premium viewing platforms, offering an unmatched pickleball event experience.
Expect innovation and excitement as an impressive roster of partners joins the event. From Biofreeze as the title sponsor to iconic names like Coca-Cola, Casamigos, Skechers, and more, the event promises to be a fusion of sport and entertainment on an unprecedented scale.
As if that wasn’t enough, an additional highlight will be a Guinness World Records attempt for the longest consecutive pickleball match, sponsored by Deep Eddy Vodka and taking place on Pickleball Boulevard.
