A Guinness World Record attempt to complete 48 pickleball matches across the “Lower 48” in fewer than 48 days, aptly named “The 48-48-48 Pickleball Challenge”, gets underway in Mobile, AL, on May 1 in Mobile, Alabama.
The challenge makes its 19th stop at the 307 Tennis Club, 455 Thelma Drive in Casper, WY, on May 13 at 11 a.m., where Dean “The Pickleball Pilot” Matt and Shannon Yeager will match up against Luke Gilliam and Tyler Daugherty from Visit Casper.
“We’re excited to be part of this world record–breaking event,” said Daugherty, C.E.O. of Visit Casper. “It’s a great chance for Casper to participate in a cool endeavor while also allowing us to learn more about the ever-growing sport of pickleball.”
Spectators are welcome to the free-to-attend event, and Daugherty added, “We’d love to have as many Casper locals as possible come to this game. It’s amazing to see pickleball grow and take off, especially in Casper.”
