The 2024 National Collegiate Pickleball Association Championship is well underway at The Hub in Spring Valley, San Diego.
Proceedings got underway yesterday, and nearly 40 colleges from across the nation started their quest to win a share of the $30,000 prize money.
Live Streaming On TrillerTV
TrillerTV, the global sports streaming platform, has also announced the addition of the Championship to its subscription service, TrillerTV+. For the first time, the platform will stream the tournament live, presenting a college sports and pickleball event.
Some of the top contenders at the tournament include the University of Virginia, Utah Valley, the Master’s University, and the University of Florida, along with major schools like Duke, USC, Texas A&M, Penn State, UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego, University of Maine, Pepperdine, Georgia Tech, University of Kansas and more.

Tournament Format And Brackets
The format consists of pool play leading into single elimination. There are a dozen pools featuring four players per pool. All games will be “played to 11, win by 1.”
The tournament will be divided into two brackets: Division 1 and Division 2.
Division 1 contains four brackets: Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Gender Singles, and Elite Eight, while Division 2 consists of three brackets: Gender Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Gender Singles.
Yesterday’s day one kicked off at 8 a.m. with Divison One and Two of the men’s doubles, followed by the two divisions of the women’s singles in the afternoon. The play concluded at 8 p.m.
Order Of Play
Today’s action starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 8 p.m. and features the women’s doubles and men’s singles competitions. The final day tomorrow sees the mixed doubles begin at 8 a.m. with the climax, the women’s Elite Eight and the men’s Eight Four, starting at 2 p.m. and finishing at a slightly later time of 9 a.m.

Player and spectator parking: There is main parking in front of The Hub, although it is very minimal. Overflow parking will be in the church lot up the road (FOLLOW THE SIGNS).
Shuttles are available for travel between the venue and the church parking lot from 7 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
