The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has announced AMN Healthcare will join its sponsorship portfolio as the Official Partner of the 2023 APP Philadelphia Open and the 2023 APP Atlanta Open.
Pickleball For Providers
At the heart of the agreement lies Pickleball for Providers — a series of healthcare-themed pickleball mixers. These events will be held on the Wednesday of every tournament and will offer organized play, networking, and local fare. Participants qualify for custom paddles and gifts.

The 2023 APP Philadelphia Open
The 2023 APP Philadelphia Open will run from Wednesday, 23rd to Sunday, 27th August at the Upper Main Line YMCA,1416 Berwyn Paoli Rd, Berwyn, PA 19312.
Last year’s APP Philadelphia Open was also held at the Upper Main Line YMCA with more than 400 registered players.
Tom Webb, the APP’s chief marketing officer said, “In 2022 the APP was very warmly welcomed by the pickleball community throughout Philadelphia, and we are already seeing an increase in participation and attendance numbers for our return in 2023.”
Tom also mentioned the continuing growth of the sport: “We are not surprised to see increasing interest in our events year on year, but the pickleball community in Philadelphia is particularly strong, so we’re excited to be back.”
The 2023 APP Atlanta Open
The 2023 APP Sunmed Atlanta Metro Open will be held at the Spalding County Pickleball Association, Tyus Park Pickleball Complex, 1301 Cowan Rd, Griffin, GA 30223, from Wednesday, September 27th to Sunday October 1st.
The tournament will feature top players from around the world competing for a prize pool of over $100,000. The event is expected to attract thousands of spectators and will surely be a major highlight of the pickleball season.
