APP And RacquetX Join Forces At The Miami Pickleball Open

The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has partnered with RacquetX, the world’s pioneering all-racquet sports conference, and experience, to spotlight pickleball as the foremost contender among racquet sports. 

The APP and RacquetX will offer joint tickets so attendees can experience two exciting events taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Unique Collaboration

This unique collaboration coincides with the APP Tour’s inaugural major tournament of 2024: the Chase APP Miami Pickleball Open, scheduled for March 24-26 in Miami, Florida.

Pickleball’s exponential growth, with over 50 million adult Americans engaging in the sport in the past year alone, solidifies its status as the nation’s fastest-growing sport.

Through this partnership, the APP aims to broaden pickleball’s reach to a wider audience at RacquetX. The partnership includes a substantial on-site presence by the APP a. It offers a bundled ticket option for enthusiasts to enjoy both RacquetX and the Championship Sunday at the 2024 Chase APP Miami Pickleball Open for just $35.

Additionally, Tom Webb, the Chief Marketing Officer of the APP, will serve as a featured speaker at RacquetX, providing insights into the APP’s remarkable growth within the sport and its strategic plans to support pickleball players of all ages and skill levels.

RacquetX will be located in close proximity to the Chase APP Miami Pickleball Open, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with top pickleball professionals and amateurs. The event encourages collaboration and innovation across various racquet sports disciplines, including tennis, pickleball, and padel.

Enhanced Prize Pools

The 2024 Chase APP Miami Pickleball Open boasts enhanced prize pools for professionals and serves as one of the APP’s five “Golden Ticket” events. These events provide all players the chance to automatically qualify for the 2024 USA Pickleball National Championships by securing a gold medal in their tournament bracket. Additionally, the six-day tournament aligns with the inaugural APP Atlantic Cup, a historic event featuring Team USA against Team Europe in the first-ever international team pickleball competition.

To commemorate the APP’s expansion into Miami, Chase will host a special event on Friday, March 22, welcoming players, fans, and locals. The event will feature live music and culinary delights from Miami’s vibrant food scene.
