The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has announced it is entering an official paddle partnership with the OWL. It will make the paddle the first product in its new official Quiet Category portfolio.
Addressing Noise Issues
As the national governing body committed to growing pickleball, USA Pickleball aims to provide opportunities for competitive and recreational play, and the OWL aligns with this mission by addressing noise issues that have, up to now, limited play in sound-sensitive areas.
Featuring multiple patent-pending designs, the OWL reduces noise output by 50% compared to standard paddles. With sound frequencies below 600 hertz and decibel levels under 80 db, the OWL greatly diminishes the sharp “pop” of ball impact.
Recently approved for use in USA Pickleball-sanctioned events, the OWL has already gained popularity among players of all levels, including tennis legend John McEnroe.
