In an exciting new update, Pickleheads is revolutionizing how players connect with one another at their favorite courts. The latest feature, Court Chat, is set to make finding and coordinating games easier than ever before. With version 1.0.25, users can now chat with players at the courts they follow, creating a vibrant community of enthusiasts ready to share their passion for pickleball.

Court Chat eliminates the need for hunting down local Facebook groups, TeamReach codes, or GroupMe invites. By simply following a court in the Pickleheads app, users are automatically added to a group chat with other players who frequent the same venue. This streamlined approach means that staying connected with local players is now just a tap away.

Follow Courts to Join the Conversation

The process is straightforward: search for courts in your area within the app and follow the ones you play at. Once you follow a court, you are immediately included in the group chat for that location. This feature fosters a sense of community, enabling players to share tips, arrange games, and keep each other updated about court conditions and availability.

Court Chat can also be an invaluable tool for those who love to travel! When you’re on the road, you can join local court chats to confirm open play times or find games that match your skill level. This ensures that wherever you go, you can seamlessly integrate into the local pickleball scene and continue playing without missing a beat.

Easy Invitations to Games and Groups

In a few weeks, Pickleheads will be enhancing this feature even further. Players at the courts you follow will start appearing in your invite widget. The app will recommend players at your skill level, making it easier to invite them to your games or groups.

This thoughtful addition aims to help users build a network of players that challenge and improve their skills. We’ve all had that rom-com moment of leaving open play after meeting the perfect doubles partner only to never see them again. With Pickleheads, you’ll be able to easily reconnect with players you enjoy partnering up with!

Pickleheads understands that group chats can sometimes become overwhelming. To maintain a pleasant experience, the app allows users to mute or unfollow chats if they get too noisy. This flexibility ensures that you can stay in control of your notifications and focus on the conversations that matter most to you.

Getting Started with Court Chat

To start using Court Chat, make sure your Pickleheads app is updated to version 1.0.25 or later. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started:

1. Update Your App: Ensure your app is updated to the latest version to access Court Chat.

2. Search for Courts: Use the app to find pickleball courts in your area.

3. Follow Courts: Follow the courts where you play to join their group chats.

4. Join the Conversation: Once you follow a court, you’re automatically added to the group chat. Start chatting with fellow players to arrange games, share tips, and more.

5. Manage Your Notifications: If a chat becomes too noisy, you can mute or unfollow the court to manage your notifications.

Embrace the Pickleball Community

The introduction of Court Chat is a testament to Pickleheads’ commitment to enhancing the pickleball experience. By fostering better communication and connection among players, the app not only makes it easier to organize games but also strengthens the community spirit that makes pickleball so enjoyable.

Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game, Pickleheads offers a convenient and effective way to connect with others. So update your app, follow your favorite courts, and start chatting. Your pickleball community is just a quick message away!
