When a show becomes a cultural phenomenon like Hamilton, producers don’t necessarily need to seek out partnerships and collaborations.
“The Hottest Thing Ever”
“For many, many years, we actively did not seek partnerships,” said Maggie Brohn, executive producer of the Tony Award-winning musical. “And when [the show] was the hottest thing ever, we turned them down because we were just focused on: the show is the show.”
However, money seems to have certainly talked as Hamilton recently announced not one, but two partnerships: one with the pickleball brand Nettie for a limited edition paddle and another with gaming company Super League for a new Roblox experience.
