With PickleTV, an online streaming television channel dedicated to pickleball, you’ll now have access to pickleball at any time you need it! The new pickleball channel just launched on Amazon’s Prime Video and Freevee streaming services.
Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport, and its rise in popularity has also led to a rise in viewership at the pro level. According to Major League Pickleball’s founder, Steve Kuhn, he believes that professional pickleball will be one of the top 5 sports in terms of viewership within the next 5 years.
We’ve already seen many of the big pro tours and leagues partner up with big TV platforms such as CBS Sports and ESPN, as well as through their own live-streaming channels and networks. PickleTV will be able to combine these types of programs and stream them 24/7 from their channel.

PickleTV already has some exciting exclusive content in the works. The National Pickleball League (NPL) just announced the release of a TV special for their recent Draft Combine, created by Inside World Pickleball. It will air for the first time on PickleTV tomorrow, April 13.
If you look at the lineup of pro tour events this year, it feels like there’s a big pickleball tournament broadcast every single week. If PickleTV can deliver and consistently stream reruns of these events, it’ll be the perfect channel for pickleball fans who are looking to simply throw on a match at any point throughout the day.
I put the channel on in the background while writing this, and it seamlessly played matches from several different PPA events, one flowing right into the next. The channel tells you the exact event you’re watching, so you can look up stats while you watch, and will display upcoming events.
In order to access the PickleTV channel through Amazon Prime, simply follow these steps:
- From the Amazon Home Page, go to Amazon Prime Video.
- In Prime Video, select the “Sports” page from the “Home” menu.
- While in “Sports,” after the section of “Upcoming sports,” you should see a section called “Sports stations – on now.”
- Scroll to the right until the PickleTV channel pops up and click on it.
- Enjoy an endless stream of pickleball matches and content!
