Professional pickleball has leveled up this year. From Major League Pickleball’s new format and team expansions to the APP’s new television broadcasting deals, pro pickleball is definitely on the rise in the public eye.
Staying up to date with each different league’s schedule can be exhausting, so we thought we’d bring them all together for you here! Let’s take a look at each of the “Big 3” pro pickleball leagues’ 2023 schedules.
Major League Pickleball (MLP)
Major League Pickleball has been the center of attention this year with its recent expansion and many celebrity endorsements and investments. The first event at MLP Mesa demonstrated that the league is living up to its hype.
The 2023 MLP schedule has been split into two different seasons. Once the first season concludes, each team will then have to draft a whole new team of players leading into Season 2. Visit MLP’s website for more event information and updates.
MLP Season 1’s Championship will be at Life Time Rancho San Clemente on June 19th, and Season 2’s Championship will also be held in San Clemente December 11th.

Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP)
2023 is shaping up to be a big year for the APP. The league’s first event at the APP Sunmed Punta Gorda Open saw nearly 700 professional and amateur pickleball players compete, and the tournament concluded with a Triple Crown performance by Parris Todd.

Professional Pickleball Association (PPA)
The 2023 Carvana PPA Tour started their year off with a bang at the 2023 Hyundai Masters with two Triple Crown performances from Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters. That alone should perfectly demonstrate the excitement going into this years’s PPA Tour!
The 2023 PPA Tour Finals will take place at San Clemente’s Life Time facility from November 30th to December 3rd.

National Pickleball League (NPL)
The NPL is the first Champions Division (Ages 50+) pro pickleball league. 2023 will be the league’s inaugural season, so get ready for many high-energy matches between the world’s best Champions Division pickleball players!
The 2023 NPL Championship weekend will take place from October 13-15 at Chicken N Pickle’s brand new location in Phoenix, AZ.
