Pictona’s reputation as a bustling tournament host is set to be enhanced even further in the upcoming weeks.
Firstly, it will host an important amateur tournament, followed by a professional pickleball event. A newly established organization will also visit the Florida venue in between.
The Conviva Pictona Open
The Conviva Pictona Open runs from tomorrow, Thursday, October 19, through Sunday at the 49-court Holly Hill complex. It will witness over 600 players from across the southeast vying in six skill levels and nine age divisions.
The event encompasses men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, and spectators have access to all the games.
Professional Pickleball Association’s Hertz Gold Cup
Following this, many of the sport’s premier players will return for the Professional Pickleball Association’s Hertz Gold Cup.
The PPA had previously graced Pictona in mid-March with the Red Clay Hot Sauce Open, and a Major League Pickleball team event had also taken place there later in the month.
