The video showcased engaging moments with her three cats, quality time with her boyfriend, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, and her culinary adventures in perfecting a cinnamon roll recipe. Notably, she was also spotted enjoying a game of pickleball.
Kansas City Chiefs Paddle
In one scene of the video, Swift proudly displayed a Kansas City Chiefs-branded paddle, a nod to Kelce’s NFL affiliation, as she took to the court. Sporting a fitted white shirt and coordinating sneakers, her outfit was topped off by a lavender athletic “skort”, which has sent some areas of the internet into meltdown!
This particular skort, made by Pop Flex Active, was gaining significant attention on social media even before Swift sported it, with their $60 Pirouette skirt quickly becoming a viral sensation.
Expressing their excitement, Pop Flex Active’s official Instagram account exclaimed, “From a team full of Swifties … this truly is our WILDEST DREAMS come true.”
Following Swift’s endorsement, the brand swiftly brought back the lavender version of the skort for a limited time. Pop Flex Active posted on Instagram, “We released a limited amount for presale. This is not a drill,” and added any ordered versions will ship in July.
Trend-Setting Style
Swift’s pickleball attire is just one instance of her trend-setting style. At Coachella earlier in the month, she rocked the popular Halara skort, accompanied by a fitted black top, an oversized leather jacket, a Stella McCartney handbag, and a “New Heights” hat. The baseball cap, promoting Kelce’s podcast, had previously sold out but reopened preorders following Swift’s endorsement.
In a “recap” video to promote her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swift included highlights from her pickleball excursion and other activities. The album’s lead single, “Fortnight,” sparked a social media challenge of the same name, encouraging fans to share their own fortnight experiences.

It remains to be seen what impact the few seconds of Taylor Swift playing pickleball will have on the sport as a whole, but one fan has already posted on X: “Learning that Taylor Swift plays pickleball has changed the entire course of my life.”
She obviously has a fan base among professional players. Last year, Anna Leigh Waters used Instagram to post the following: “Hey @taylorswift, do you play pickleball by chance?”
A report about Waters had followed a story about Swift on Sports Center, prompting this post on Anna’s Instagram feed:
“Lol 😂 @a.l.waters_a1, the #1 female professional pickleball player, shared a spot on @sportscenter with Taylor last night, and AL was so upset she couldn’t make the concert!! She would love to see you on your tour in LA in August, Taylor!!”
