Dobrik aims to combine his love for pickleball, CELSIUS Energy Drinks – his favored refreshment, and the thrill of being the perfect host.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Dobrik shared a few thoughts with the entertainment site Distractify, “I’m just a big fan of pickleball, and I’m an even bigger fan of having people around my house. So this is like the perfect combination of everything from friends to my favorite drink [CELSIUS], a combination of fun things. So I’m really excited.”
Dobrik has a competitive spirit to go with his love of leisure time and is dedicated to performing well in the tournament. He revealed, “I’m stoked for it… I’m not just saying this; maybe I am just saying it to manifest it, but no, I’m stoked for it.”
Win or lose, Dobrik envisions the celebrity pickleball tournament becoming an annual tradition at his residence.
Traditional Workouts Not His Forte
Dobrik’s journey into pickleball is intertwined with his pursuit of a healthier and more active lifestyle. Partnering with his close friend Ilya Fedorovich, who owns Xeela Fitness, Dobrik has invested in her fitness venture.
However, he confessed traditional workouts haven’t been his forte, as his attempts to join Ilya in exercising often fell short despite his best intentions. Instead, he discovered the best way to stay active was through a sport he genuinely enjoyed.
While revisiting his tennis-playing days from childhood, Dobrik found a new passion in pickleball.
He explained, “Pickleball is the next greatest thing, and it’s so much easier to play, and it makes you feel really good. So it’s been a huge part of me being active because, like, now I can finally do something daily that I genuinely enjoy.”

Not only does pickleball contribute to his physical well-being, it also offers him mental solace and the freedom to indulge in his favorite foods.
The tournament took place at Dobrik’s Los Angeles residence, with notable figures like model and actress Olivia Culpo and The Bachelorette’s Tyler Cameron expected to attend.
Dobrik’s partner of choice for the tournament was none other than Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner. Explaining his selection, Dobrik expressed confidence in Lautner’s pickleball prowess, citing previous positive experiences playing alongside him: “I chose him because I played with him a couple of times. And the guy is actually pretty great. We have this in the bag.”

Judging by the video Dobrik shared on TikTok, it looks as though a fun time was had by all, and he was even crowned champion!
