In the rapidly growing world of pickleball, players from coast to coast continually seek new and innovative ways to connect, compete, and enjoy their favorite sport. Enter 365Dink, a groundbreaking subscription service tailored specifically for pickleball players of all skill levels.
Offering unparalleled access to a vast network of courts across the United States, 365Dink is more than just a booking platform; it’s a community builder. With features that allow members to effortlessly reserve courts, match with players who share similar skill levels, and unlock a host of other exclusive benefits at participating facilities, 365Dink is setting a new standard for how pickleball is played and experienced nationwide.
365Dink’s Co-Founders, Vanessa Carrington and Camilla Shumaker, connected through their shared love of both travel and pickleball. Their backgrounds as entrepreneurs led them to naturally connect the two ideas with a service that would allow a seamless connection between traveling players and venues across the nation.
“Camilla and I both travel a lot for work and pleasure. We also both love pickleball, and we love real estate. So it was definitely the combination of all those backgrounds that prompted us to come up with this idea,” said Carrington. “I think part of why we were most excited by this concept is, while it may be new for pickleball, the concept of asking people to get a membership for multiaccess, like The Epic or Multiple Mountains, is not new. It’s just the first time it’s been applied to pickleball. So, we’re not asking people to get on board with an unproven concept; instead, we’re asking them to get on board with a proven concept for a sport that they love.”
Connecting With Pickleball Communities While Traveling
Whether on a work trip or a family vacation, the idea of playing pickleball while traveling is exciting and will almost always make your travels more enjoyable. However, finding courts on the road can be tricky, especially if you aren’t familiar with the area or the customs of both facilities and local communities.
A 365Dink membership removes all the stress of trying to hunt down courts on the road and the tricky coordination of reserving a court. Members have immediate access to 365Dink’s growing network of facilities, showing them exactly where the court is, if reservations are available, and other pertinent information about the facility.
“Think of it like Airbnb,” said Carrington. “The venues are like the accommodations, and the players are like the guests. Really, what we’re doing is we’re matchmaking. So, our relationship with venues is that they join our network, they get the exposure on our network to our members, they don’t have to pay us for this exposure, and we are bringing them members that will spend money in their venue.”
It’s also exciting to keep track of 365Dink’s growing network of facilities. They are constantly adding fun new locations, such as the unique DinkSF pop-up venue at San Francisco’s famous Palace of Fine Arts! Do you know a venue that you think would work great for 365Dink? Have them sign up here!
