The Association of Pickleball Players (APP) has announced the launch of GIFs and stickers featuring all of your favorite pro players from this year’s APP Tour. Starting today, you can access dozens of pro pickleball GIFs on GIPHY, one of the most prominent GIF databases that is directly connected to many popular social media platforms.

In order to post these GIFs on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat, the APP recommends searching keywords such as “pickleball”, “APP”, “APP Tour”, and the player’s name. Here are the 30 players currently available in GIF form:

All of the images were captured before the 2023 APP Mesa Open during a content capture session. Over 35 players participated in video and photo sessions over a two day period, with the content now officially being deployed by the APP who went through a complete rebrand of their website.
The APP’s Chief Marketing Officer, Tom Webb, is excited for the release of the GIFs, as he believes it stands for a point of innovation in the awareness of the sport at the pro level. The APP wants to platform its players as the sport grows, and the value of GIFs universal use across social media platforms shouldn’t be understated.

This is the sort of investment that elite level sports take for granted, and for pickleball, this is a world-first. However, these are the sorts of programs that will help grow awareness of pro players, so it’s an incredibly valuable project for the APP and the players who took part.”
