Diadem Sports, a sports equipment brand known for their high-quality pickleball gear, has announced that they will be opening a brand new indoor pickleball court facility. They are partnering with Broward College to open nine state-of-the-art indoor pickleball courts at the university’s north campus in Coconut Creek, Florida.
The Diadem Pickleball Complex (DPC) plans to cater to pickleball players of all levels with structured open play, tournaments, and clinics for first-time players and pros alike. A pro shop and lounge area will also be featured within the facility, where guests can purchase snacks and beverages, pickleball gear, and socialize. They also plan on hosting a variety of food trucks on certain weekdays and through the weekend.
In their recent press release, Diadem’s Director of Programming, Gene Devito, explains that they have built their programming schedule to cater to players of all backgrounds. They want there to be a focus on encouraging newcomers to give pickleball a shot, and also help advanced players get to the next level through a weekly tournament and event schedule.
“Starting a new sport can be intimidating to some, but I plan to make that first time picking up a paddle an unforgettably fun outing during our “Intro to Pickleball” class that we will offer weekly. We are also looking forward to hosting weekly tournaments and events for our higher level players as well, so that they can continue to grow their games against new players each week.”

The facility will be hosting its grand opening celebrations this Saturday, June 19th, which will be open to the public. Court reservations can be made through the DPC’s website, and you should also stay tuned to their event calendar, where they will be posting dates for upcoming tournaments and clinics.
The grand opening will include an open play event from 10 am to 12 pm for 3.0+ skill level players. Following open play, there will be an introductory event from 12:30 pm to 2 pm, with open play and demonstrations running from 2:15 pm to 4 pm and 4:15 pm to 6 pm. Entry for these events will cost $5 for each time slot, per player.
There will be a grand finale Money Ball Main Event from 6:30 pm to 9 pm, where 17 doubles teams (5.0+ skill level) will register to compete in a tournament for a prize of 2 Founder’s Memberships and $1,700 in DPC credit. Registration is $100 per team; we recommend contacting DPC directly about registration information ahead of the event via email.
Food trucks will be at the grand opening between 11 am and 10 pm, DJ Sama will put on a live music set, and local artist Danny Doya will be doing some on-site painting of a mural for the facility.
DPC is currently running a year-long membership giveaway on their Instagram. Be sure to check it out and enter for a chance to win before the contest ends tomorrow!
“We’re a Florida-based company in the middle of one of the best pickleball communities in the world. We couldn’t think of a better location for our flagship pickleball complex. This has been something we’ve been working on for quite some time, and we can’t wait to welcome the South Florida community to the DPC.”
