Collier County looks set to extend its sponsorship of the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships until 2029 after renewing the contract with Spirit Promotions for another five years. The Tourist Development Council has tentatively recommended this extension, which will involve a budget of over $1.7 million. The final decision for approval lies with the County Commissioners, who will meet to vote on January 9.
