The Global Pickleball Federation (GPF) website has announced it is the international governing body for the sport of pickleball. The press release goes on to say the GPF represents approximately 95 percent of pickleball members worldwide and will collaborate with continental federations, member countries, and other partners to advance pickleball on a global scale. In response to the increasing popularity of pickleball nationwide, Drury University in Springfield, Missouri,  has announced the inclusion of a co-ed team in its non-NCAA sports offerings for the 2024-25 season.  The university is currently in the process of recruiting members for this team. “Panther Pad” Earlier this August, Drury University unveiled plans for the construction of an outdoor recreation area known as the Panther Pad, which will feature six dedicated pickleball courts. ServeSport Limited has successfully obtained retrospective approval for the conversion of their Stafford Park warehouse in Telford, England, into a Pickleball Centre.  This facility will offer courts for public rental during evenings and weekends. In addition to the Pickleball Centre, the company plans to incorporate offices, training, and research spaces.
